5" Turbo-Back Exhaust System - Aluminum w/o Muffler ('99-'03)

This massive 5" turbo-back exhaust system from MBRP offers the biggest performance benefits at the best price of any exhaust system for the 7.3L Powerstroke. 5" might seem a little overkill for a stock or slightly modified 7.3L, but the bigger the exhaust the better for performance. This exhaust has the most backpressure reduction which results in significantly lower EGTs and engine temps, quicker turbo spool, and great performance gains. The best exhaust on a turbo diesel is no exhaust and this is as close as you can get to it.

If a 5" exhaust system is within your budget we definitely recommend it over a 4" system. 5" might not be needed for modest power levels but there is no such thing as too much backpressure reduction. This exhaust will provide the best performance and reliability improvements. This is a great budget system as it is made of aluminized steel, although this means it won't hold up quite as well in areas where things tend to rust. If this is the case we recommend upgrading to the T409 option. The stainless steel 5" exhaust is $629.99 so if that is breaking the bank you can save some pennies by getting the stainless 4" system for $574.99.

Overall, this is the best performing exhaust at the best budget price. If you don't need the 5" exhaust you can save $100 with the 4" aluminum, but this larger system will perform better if the extra cost is within your budget.
