6.0 Powerstroke MBRP 4" Turbo-Back Exhaust – Aluminum

MBRP's 4" turbo-back exhaust system is the best bang-for-your-buck exhaust on the market for the 6.0 Powerstroke. It retains the factory catalytic converter, making it completely legal from an emissions standpoint while still providing significant performance benefits. The exhaust system is made of high quality aluminized steels and is a direct factory bolt-on, and can be DIY installed in under an hour. 

The 6.0 Powerstroke suffers from head gasket issues caused by excess heat. Upgrading the exhaust is one of the best upgrades to reduce EGTs and lower engine temps, resulting in increased reliability and a lower likelihood of running into head issues. Additionally, you'll notice power gains up to about 15hp and 30tq, making this a great performance and reliability upgrade all in one. 

MBRPs exhaust is available both with or without a muffler. Option for the muffler-less exhaust will save you $40 and is also going to offer bigger benefits in terms of power and EGT reduction as the muffler creates a minor restriction in exhaust flow. With that being said, if you don't want to add as much exhaust noise then the mufflered option is a good choice and the performance differences are very minor.

Ultimately, this is our top recommendation for 6.0 Powerstroke exhaust upgrades. We prefer the muffler-less option but actually upgrading the exhaust for the EGT and backpressure reduction is much more important than whether you choose a muffler or not. Furthermore, 409 and 304 stainless steel exhausts are an option but at a significantly higher cost and the steel creates a lot more drone at highway speeds so we prefer aluminum.
