7.3 Powerstroke CSF Intercooler Upgrade (1999-2003)

CSF's Heavy Duty intercooler is our favorite intercooler upgrade for the 7.3 Powerstroke when combining budget and performance. The upgraded intercooler utilizes a larger core to increase airflow and reduce EGTs by 100-200 degrees. Additionally, you will notice lower engine temps, improved towing, and approx. 1mpg fuel economy increases.

The CSF intercooler kit comes with the intercooler only, making it a bit more affordable than the Banks kit which includes all the piping. It is a direct bolt-in installation making it an easy DIY. The intercooler uses heavy duty aluminum end tanks to prevent bursting issues and is pressure tested and rated for more than 120psi of boost.

Overall, this is the best option for an intercooler-only upgrade without sacrificing performance or completely breaking the bank. If you are looking for a a value play I suggest looking at the 6.0 OEM+ upgrade by CSF which is a direct bolt-in for the 7.3 Powerstroke. It won't offer quite the same level of performance as this CSF intercooler but it does come in big on value.
