Fleece's high flow plenum and grid heater delete kit is the most cost effective option on the market for preventing grid heater bolt failure while also improving airflow and performance. The kit utilizes a billet aluminum runner plate, new gaskets, and a sensor extension to remove the factory grid heater and reduce airflow restrictions.

This product will completely delete the grid heater. This is only recommended for trucks that operate in warmer climates. If you live in a cold climate deleting the grid heater will cause issues with cold starts, more specifically when the temperatures get below approx. 40 degrees. The options for keeping heater functionality are to either tap the factory intake manifold and add a heater coil to it, or upgrade to the Banks Monster-Ram Kit.
