Our MBRP exhaust upgrade kit includes both a 4" downpipe and a 4" filter-back exhaust system, retaining all factory emissions equipment while drastically increasing exhaust flow, reducing backpressure, and adding power. This kit is the best bang-for-your-buck full exhaust upgrade for the price. You save $70 over purchasing the units separately, and it is only $5 more than buying downpipe plus the S6242P exhaust that doesn't include the exhaust tip add-on.

Once you've tuned your 6.4 Powerstroke it becomes extremely important to improve exhaust flow to help lower engine temps and EGTs. These engines suffer a number of common problems that become more likely once boost levels are turned up and EGTs start creeping up. The downpipe is the most important part of the exhaust system to ugprade as it has the biggest impact on backpressure reduction, but the filter-back portion of the exhaust also offers great performance and reliability benefits.

Ultimately, this is our top recommendation when it comes to exhaust systems. The kit is aluminum and 4" throughout. While steel exhausts are more durable they are a lot more expensive and they create more drone on the highway which is why we prefer saving the budget and sticking with aluminum.
