Duramax LLY Turbo Vane Position Sensor Kit

This a Genuine OEM Garrett Turbo Vane Position Sensor for the Duramax LLY.

The factory Garrett VGT turbocharger uses a solenoid to control the vane position, which is responsible for regulating airflow to the turbo and controlling boost pressure. The vane position sensor communicates with the ECM and signals the VGT solenoid to properly position the vanes. The vane position sensor commonly fails on the Duramax LLY which results in various turbocharger and performance related problems. While the vanes are also prone to sticking on the turbocharger, a P2563 engine code is a tell tale sign that the vane position sensor is bad. A P003A code might also be present which is also an indicator of a bad sensor.
